DoreenWOODMANDoreen's son Michael would like to thank relatives and friends for cards, messages of sympathy along with the beautiful floral tributes received on the sad loss of his dear Mum, Mother-in-law and much loved Nan and Great-Nan. Thanking his Wife Pauline, Daughters Sara and Lucy and Grandson Benjamin, and much loved Nephew Christopher and his Wife Angie for travelling from Gloucestershire. Gordon and Margaret Richards, you were all and are the strength that I need to help me through this very sad time. A special thank you to Reverend Sally Hince who carried out a beautiful and touching service at St Nicolas Church. Thank you to D B Devall & Son for their professional and caring support and Carol who helped us smile through the rain. Thank you to the staff at Gildawood Residential Home in caring for Doreen during her final years of Vascular Dementia, Dr Burnett at Red Roofs Surgery, Ann Wilson and Diane Hewitt from the Wednesday Craft Club at Philip Docker Court for their kindness and friendship shared with Doreen, along with Albert and Doreen and the Warden. Thank you Bunches Florist, Chapel End for the beautiful wreaths, Minister Rick Hughes of Manor Court Road Baptist Church for the comfort he gave to Sara and her family. A heartfelt thank you to all staff on Victoria Ward, George Eliot Hospital, especially Sister/Staff Nurse Jane Thomas and Dr Peter Latham, the empathy and compassion which you showed towards Doreen during her final days and hours will forever be etched onto our hearts.
