Remembering Bob
It’s hard to put into words the loss of someone who meant so much in so many ways. Bob wasn’t just part of my life as a former father-in-law—he was a true friend, someone I respected deeply and cared about a great deal.
He was also a loving Papa to my son and daughter, and that’s something I’ll always be grateful for. The bond he had with them, the time he gave, and the memories they shared will stay with them forever.
One of the memories I’ll always hold onto is going with him to the last ever game at Highfield Road. It wasn’t just about the football—it was about the time spent together, the atmosphere, and the shared moment that now means even more. That day will always stay with me.
He had a way of making people feel welcome and valued, and I’ll always be grateful for the time we shared, the conversations we had, and the memories that will never fade. His kindness, strength, and character left a lasting impression.
Though life took us on different paths, the connection and respect remained. I’ll always think of him with warmth and appreciation.
Rest in peace, Bob. You’ll be missed more than words can say.
