We wish that we could be there in person to say goodbye to Maureen. A feisty, but fun, mother-in-law to me, Jane Wilson and caring Grandma to Jonty Wilson. So many memories from over the years, to contemplate. I remember her taking my arm when heavily expectant with Jonty, to walk out in the snow to check in on Aunty Milly and thegreat fun we all had at Darren and Linsays wedding, Uncle Andy playing the tin tray and being taught the Blaydon races song! Maureen always made time to take Jonty out on his Scooter or for a run on the sands, when we visited from Oxford. We are so proud of Jontys geordie heritage. I enjoyed her cheeky laugh when we had phone call catch ups this last year. Often talking about her son, Jonty's late dad, Paul Wilson, trying to make sense if it all. I hope that they are together in infinite peace now. I know they will be watching over Jonty in these difficult times. I wish I'd connected with Elizabeth, who I know always visited Maureen to help with shopping and much more, I know how much she appreciated you.
Maureen, we love you and miss you. I will be raising a glass of sherry to you tonight and always with Jonty (when he is old enough!). Much love and condolences to Darren and all the family from us and my parents, Edgar, Myra, and sister, Susan and hubby, Ben.. love you, Maureen, Jane and Jonty xxx💙
