Uncle Will possessed a quiet strength, a down to earth and dependable gentleman, with a huge appreciation and zest for life. His quick wit and humour will be missed by many.

I will always remember how kind Wil and his late wife Enid were when my husband Phil was ill in hospital. Wil had a lovely voice and loved to join Phil and Griff in the Union for a good sing song and pint most weekends.
When Phil was ill Wil would visit him in hospital to check if he needed anything A true friend indeed and am sorry to read of his passing. Deepest sympathy to you all . R I P Wil.
