MaggieMITCHELLIt is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Mum, Maggie Mitchell, who died peacefully with her loving family by her side on 14th September 2025 aged 78 years.
She was a dearly loved wife of Ian, loving Mum to Jo & Emma. A treasured Granny to Jack & Alice and a loving friend to many. She will be sadly missed.

A celebration of Maggie's life will take place on Wednesday 1st October 2025 at Kirkleatham Memorial Park at 11:00am, followed by a buffet lunch at Kirkleatham Walled Garden.
All who knew Maggie are welcome to attend.
By request, please wear something you are comfortable in whether that is smart, casual, colourful or black!

Family flowers only, donations if desired to Marie Curie.

I met Maggie only earlier this year when we both attended a course. She returned to Cumbria a little later for "Words by the Water", giving us the chance to share Iunch in Keswick. I particularly remember Maggie for her kindness, enthusiasm and love of learning. I will always remember my friend Maggie.
