In loving memory of Rita May Mellor born 19th August 1933 and passed away at Coventry University Hospital on 3rd April 2026. Beloved wife to the late Harry Mellor, a loving and caring mum to Martin David Mellor and the late Nicholas David Mellor, proud grandma to Jamie Robert Mellor and wonderful relative and friend to so many people.
Rita lived a full life from her early memories of the Coventry blitz, her exciting travels with Harry around Europe in his Austin Healey, being a mother to Nicholas and Martin, a successful career working in the Coventry Machine Tools business and a long retirement spending much time with her grandson Jamie. She was known for her generosity and her enduring friendship where she created a special connection with all of her family and friends with empathy, understanding and always with a laugh and a smile.
She leaves behind a lifetime of memories and she will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
A funeral service to celebrate Rita's life will be held on Wednesday 22nd April at Canley Crematorium at 15:45.
