Kim, you were my sidekick when we were student nurses struggling with those essays, supporting each other. Even though our paths took a different course and for a while different countries we always stayed in touch. The caravan holidays with the kids, you helped Matt find Bruce the staffy pup, and through it all we kept a link. The catch ups in the pub till covid hit then the text messages just to keep in touch. I text you at xmas and you responded I,m still here lol. My last text only a few days ago I knew when you didnt respond you were no longer here. I am sorry I didnt get to say goodbye. I will miss you mate. ELLEN X

Well Cousin I still cant believe that you have gone from us.You have left a gigantic void in our lives but your wit and sparkling personality, your warm and caring disposition and your outrageous sense of humour will be remembered with love. Our Mums were like two peas in the same pod and we too had some of this sparking off one another like they did. Most definitely in our off-the-wall repartees when we laughed till we cried.
We also had their love of nature sharing special moments like the dawn chorus by the lake and the arrival of newly hatched life and visitors from elsewhere.
Thinking about it you haven't really gone at all-you will be right here
Love from Big Cousin xxxx

It is with great sadness that I have heard of the passing of a truly valued colleague and friend.

We had the privilege of working side by side for well over a decade, across both Royal Infirmary and City General Hospital. During those 10–15 years, I came to know not just a dedicated professional, but someone whose kindness, humour, and unwavering support left a lasting impression on everyone around them.

They brought so much more than skill and experience to the workplace — they brought warmth, compassion, and a sense of unity that made even the toughest days easier to face. Their presence will be deeply missed by all who had the honour of working alongside them.

My thoughts are with their family, friends, and all who knew them. Thank you for the memories, the lessons, and the legacy you leave behind.

Rest in peace.
