Grandpa, he did it, he only went and passed first time! You'd have been so proud yesterday and so exited for him. It wouldn't be without all your help too. Love and miss you every day 💗

I am not sure how it has been a month since you left us, or that you've left us at all! I miss you so much. We celebrated you on Saturday and still went on your birthday steam train 🚂 trip as planned. You would have absolutely loved it, the sun was shinning down too. I still can't quite get my head around you not being here anymore, but I hope you are getting plenty tlc, love hugs and kisses from grandma. Love and miss you so much ❤️ Sarah xxxx
P.s you'll never guess what?! We only went and found the frogs, 2 years that's took us, bet you are both laughing at us xxxx

We were so sorry to hear about Uncle John’s passing. I have so many happy memories of times spent with him and aunty Irene growing up - he was such a special part of my childhood. Even though we live far away, we stayed in touch and I’m grateful to have had him in my life. He had such a warm presence, and he loved his family. Our thoughts are with you all, and we know he’ll be greatly missed. Alison & Steve

Just been informed of John's departure by a friend. So sorry I missed the funeral and my thoughts go out to all the family. I remember John with great fondness for the numerous times he walked me home as a child after playing with Richard, for the many times he drove us to Holy Island for our weekends canoeing and the hundreds of times he drove me home after our Monday evening swimming sessions...a wonderful man, father and friend. My love and thoughts to the family.
