dad it has been quite a long time since l have last seen you but the number of days when you do not come to mind are very few l miss you so very much

dad your spirit still lives on in my daily life l laugh at the old jokes and cry over the old memories and you may not be here but in many ways it feels like you never left all my love

though your chair sits empty your presence remains in every memory and every refrain a father's love is like endless chain binding our hearts despite the pain and we honor a life we'll never forget a father a friend a guiding light whose love will carry us through the night

dad so much of you will never die but live on ever after as we loved you so we miss you and in our memory you are near loved and remembered longed for always bringing many a silent tear

dad you are truly missed and thought of everyday so many things we didn't get a chance to say but your memories will last a lifetime and fill us with love now it's your time to rest and sleep tight with the angels above

dad you may be gone but your existence did not disappear pieces of you still remain in the memories you left behind in all the love you gave and in the lives of all those you touched
