dad l know how much you loved me you made it clear each day sometimes in the things you did sometimes in the words you'd say dad l miss you so much all my love

like shooting star in the sky l just keep asking why you were gone so fast simply taken away and it breaks my heart every single day so many words left unspoken so much l needed to say but dad l will keep waiting to see you again l'll keep waiting for that day l miss you

every year on this day we think of you and smile we sit back and remember you for a while all the times we sat and laughed and all the times cried all of the moments we shared together and all the things we tried whenever we miss your laughter whenever we feel sad we look up to the sky and give thanks we had such a special dad and though you are not here with us we hope you can hear us say that were thinking with love on this father's day all our love

dad you meant so much to me knowing how much you cared and if either of us needed to talk the other would always be there your friendship was a special gift that l treasured every day and l hope you know how much l valued it more than words could ever say
