EvelynIRELANDdied on October 16 in her home town of Clayton-le-Moors peacefully surrounded by her loving family, aged 82 years.
Evelyn finished work at Brooke Bond Oxo to become a carer for her dad and a full-time mum to Heather and her late partner Kevin, Wayne, Tracy and her partner Ste and Gary and his wife Janine. Evelyn was widow of the late Ernest Thomas Ireland 'Tommy'.
Throughout their life they loved days out together on coach trips, Downham feeding the ducks was a favourite. They had a love for gardening in which she took pride in later in life. She loved walking with the family dog Milo and loved to stop and have a natter. She also loved shopping and getting a bargain. In later life she became a very dedicated grandma to Samantha and her partner Joe, Jamie and his wife Abbie, Matthew and partner Jade and Chantelle. More recently she became a great-grandma to Madison, Lucas, Freddie, Maya, Georgia Evelyn and Maisie Evelyn, whom she adored and lived for spending time with them. Evelyn was loved and cherished by her family and will be sorely missed.
Evelyn's funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, at Accrington Crematorium at 12.20pm. Neil will be the celebrant conducting the service.
