FrankHAWORTHof Bury Road, Rawtenstall died at home on June 17, aged 84 years.
Frank previously worked as a self-employed builder. He was an honorary member of Rawtenstall Cricket Club and a member of the Whitaker Park Bowling Club, he attended the club since he was a boy. He had volunteered every morning at the cricket club, performing ground maintenance, such as building and repairing, since retirement. Frank enjoyed walking round The Valley Hills. He was a well known face at local amateur football. He has watched his son, grandsons and great-grandson play football matches. Frank enjoyed gardening in his lovely garden. He was a long time member of The Royal British Legion. He was a great family man and loved spending time with his family.
Partner to Margaret, husband to the late Christine and the late Honora. He leaves behind his children Suzanne and Stephen, son-in-law Nick and daughter-in-law Tania. Grandchildren Lewis, Phoebe, Sam and Bridie and great-grandchildren Joel, Lydia and Jude.
A service will be held on Friday, July 3 with service at St Mary's Church Rawtenstall at 1pm followed by interment at Rawtenstall Cemetery led by Rev Stephen Crook.
