Julia LesleyHARPERJulia passed away peacefully after a short illness on 24th April 2026, aged 63 years. Beloved wife of Richard and cousin to Ian and Fiona.

Resting at Coles Funeral Directors until the service to be held at Thornhill Crematorium (Wenallt Chapel) on Tuesday 19th May at 11:30am.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, can be made to Marie Curie Hospice, Bridgeman Rd, Penarth, CF64 3YR in memory of Julia. Donations/tributes can also be made via www.colesfuneraldirectors.co.uk/funeral-notices-birchgrove/

Every large, complex organisation (and they don’t come any more challenging than the NHS) needs a “Julia” but rarely has one. Reliable, hard working, thorough but above all a completer finisher who always got the job done. The epitome of an unsung heroine. RIP Julia - it was my privilege to work with you professionally and to spend time with you socially.
