Tribute to Auntie Beatrice
Auntie Beatrice was the reason my siblings and I ever had the opportunity to travel to the UK. She was not a woman of many words, yet she had a special way of making everyone feel at home and loved.
She introduced me to crossword puzzles, sparking a lifelong love for them, and she was also the one who introduced me to Friends, which remains my favorite show to this day. Auntie Beatrice was an incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable woman who never stopped exercising her mind and keeping it sharp, even in her later years.
A distinguished medical doctor and radiologist, Auntie Beatrice had a deep love for academia and lifelong learning. She believed strongly in the power of education and was always willing to support family members in their academic pursuits. Her encouragement, guidance, and generosity helped many of us strive for excellence and pursue our goals with confidence.
It was a great privilege for her to meet my daughter, Odeibea, when she was six years old. She was so impressed by her, and that memory will always remain special to me.
Auntie Beatrice was a strong pillar of our family, a guiding presence, and our beloved matriarch. As she goes home today, we remember her with love, gratitude, and deep respect. We are thankful for the time we shared with her and for the many ways she enriched our lives.
We love you dearly, Auntie Beatrice. You will always be remembered and cherished. Your wisdom, kindness, and legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
Rest peacefully in the blossom of the Lord
