Mike was a true friend, he was always there when I needed him with his cheerful demeanor asking what I had been up to. From the start when Julie introduced Mike into our Friend group back in the day, he just fitted in. The life of the party. He was there with help and advise. Mike you will be missed. Get a pint of real ale ready for when we meet again......

Michael - I thought I would share this to show what a waste of money those ball room dance classes were. You used to rag me around the dance floor and we both had two left feet. Every Thursday for NHS during lockdown

Mike was a much-loved old neighbour and a familiar, reassuring presence when we lived in the close.

Julie was so often the one who brought everyone together, creating the warmth and spirit of our little community, and Mike was always there by her side - welcoming, supportive, and quietly helping make those moments so special. Together, they created so many memories, that we will always treasure.

We will remember the many days and evenings spent together, full of laughter, chats, and companionship. Even during lockdown, when times were difficult, those moments of coming together (ensuring the rules were always obeyed 😜) meant so much, and Mike was always part of that.

He was kind to everyone, especially the children, always taking the time to stop, have a chat, and share a smile. That kindness will not be forgotten.

Our heartfelt condolences go to Julie, Jessie, Jean, and all the family. Mike will be greatly missed, and fondly remembered by all of us who were lucky enough to know him.

Love, Jacqueline, Neil, Liam and Niamh
