Simon MarkGAUNTSimon Mark Gaunt was born in Huddersfield in 1972 and passed away peacefully at Coventry and Warwickshire University Hospital on the 7th June 2026 after an illness.

Simon was loved and cherished by his wife Joanna, his parents Allen and Pamela, his sister Paula and his many friends and relatives who will mourn the passing of one who made the world a warmer place. His kindness, dedication and humour touched so many, and he will be missed deeply.

The funeral service will take place on Friday 26th June 2026 in Cannon Hill Chapel, Canley Crematorium at 12:45pm.

We request that all floral tributes are delivered to our Allesley Old Road Branch, at least two hours prior to the funeral time. Donations in memory of Simon are for Cancer Research UK. These can be placed in the donation box at the service or given online via Funeral Notices at www.ajlloyd.co.uk A J Lloyd Funeral Directors

10 years mate and I’ll always be grateful for the laughs we shared—especially on those long work road trips. They never felt like work when he was around.
We both loved our food, and Simon always made sure we ate well along the way. Those simple moments meant a lot.
He was more than just a colleague—he was a good mate and he will be missed.
