Happy Father's Day in Heaven, Graham my son.
Not the way I imagined saying it.
Not the way it should have been.
Today I watch your children grow, laugh, and become little pieces of the man you were.
And somehow, through them, you are still here.
I see your smile.
Your kindness.
Your stubbornness.
Your sense of humor.
The way they light up a room without even trying.
People say time changes things.
Maybe it does.
But it hasn't changed how proud I am of you.
It hasn't changed how much I love you.
And it hasn't changed the fact that you will always be their father.
Today, your children celebrate you with every piece of you they carry.
And I celebrate the son who made me proud every single day of his life.
