Lynda AnnFRIENDIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lynda Ann Friend, who died on 22nd April 2026, with her sons by her side.

A devoted mother, Lynda was deeply cherished by her late husband, Alan; a much loved and adoring mum to Neill and Ian; a treasured mother-in-law to Pip and Kate; and a proud and loving granny to Sam, Izzy and Josie. She will be forever missed by all who knew her.

Lynda brought warmth, kindness and quiet strength to her family and friends, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will never fade.

The funeral will be held at the Exeter & Devon Crematorium on Friday 15th May at 9.30am (St Peter's Chapel). Smart-casual dress is requested; please also wear something pink for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Family flowers only, please, donations in memory of Lynda are welcome for Breast Cancer Now by retiring collection, sent to

Although I didn’t know you for long , Lyn , I could tell you were a kind , thoughtful and loving beautiful lady, it was obvious your family loved you deeply especially your two wonderful sons who never left your side.
