We are deeply grateful to our respective work colleagues for the immense support and compassion shown to us since the passing of our beloved Dad.
A special thank you is extended from David's daughter Louise to all her clients at Salon 27, Wellmeadow Street, Paisley, for their wonderful kindness and warmth during this difficult period.
Our sincere appreciation goes to the Carers, Family Doctors, and the truly amazing District Nurses for the dedicated love and exceptional care they afforded to David.
We extend our gratitude to Father Thomas John of St. Peter's RC Church for a beautifully uplifting Requiem Mass, to David Ogilvie for his moving piping at the church and graveside, and to Paul Browett, Civil Celebrant, for delivering such a personal and touching eulogy.
Our thanks also go to the Glynhill Hotel for their warm hospitality and excellent catering.
A special mention and sincere thanks to Capt. David Hanley and the Sappers of 102 Squadron Royal Engineers, both past and present, for their attendance to pay their respects to a respected colleague.
Through everyone's generosity, an amazing sum of £372.50 was raised on the day for the Royal Engineers Association, Paisley Branch, in proud memory of Capt. David Farquhar.
