JeanESSERYPassed away peacefully with her Daughters and Sister by her side on the 6th March 2026. Jean, aged 83 years, fought her illnesses with quiet strength, unwavering courage and remarkable dignity.

The devoted wife of the late Alan, treasured Mum of Lynn and Dawn. A dearly loved Mother-in-Law to Gren. A loving and thoughtful Grandma of George, Abigail, Lucas and recently became a Great Grandma to baby Jacob. A special Sister to Ann, also the late Alan and Malcolm. A dear Auntie and good friend to many, Jean will be so greatly missed but fondly remembered in the hearts of all her loving family, friends and all that knew her. Now reunited with her beloved Husband Alan.

A Funeral Service will be held at St Marks Church, Basford on Tuesday 7th April at 11:30am with burial to follow at Newcastle Cemetery.
