Thank you for all the cards and letters of sympathy, beautiful flowers and wreaths sent to Pat, and to everyone who came to say goodbye to him, he would have been so delighted to see so many of his carers together, our caravan friends, and friends from the food train, our Godchildren and the family. Eric and Ann, thank you for stepping in and taking care of all the business while I was in hospital and at home. The doctors and nursing staff in wards 4D and 2C for looking after us so well, a big thank you, Crosshouse Hospital is in good hands. Thanks to big Margaret and wee Margaret for being there when I really needed a friend. Georgie, thanks a million for being Pat's best friend, for all the cups of tea he enjoyed, the laughs we had and all the TLC. Our minister the Rev. Stewart Birse for a very uplifting and comforting service to everyone who came to the funeral parlour, thank you so much. Riverside Lodge Hotel provided the afternoon tea and it was enjoyed by all. And last but not least, R.B Steele Funeral Directors, very caring, efficient and helpful with everything. The retiral collection for Cardiovascular Dementia Research amounted to £520.
