Nigel JohnDAVISONNigel passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, 16th June 2026, aged 60 years. Nigel was a proud Yorkshireman, but lived most of his life in North Wales, most recently in Dinerth Crescent, Rhos-on-Sea. Nigel, affectionately known as Gromit, will be remembered for his time spent in the motor trade, working initially for local garages in North Wales, before setting up Junction Autopark and latterly Pentre Van Sales, Rhos on Sea. Nigel lived life in the fast lane, and enjoyed time with family and friends, mostly in the local pub, walking, playing golf, fishing, skiing and latterly riding his beloved Vespa.
Nigel was the much loved son of the late Jack and Kath, loving husband of Lynne, proud dad of Kirsty, Jack, Antony, Adam and Giordan and their partners, a treasured grandfather of Sophia, Freddie, Oscar, Olivia and Louis, a beloved brother of Mark and a cherished Uncle to Ffion and Bethan. Nigel will be greatly missed by his family, friends, colleagues, business associates and anyone who knew him.
A Celebration of Life Service for Nigel will take place on Friday, 3rd July 2026 at 2.45pm at Colwyn Bay Crematorium. As per Nigel's request, sport shirts are compulsory for those attending.
