I first met Mark 50 years ago when I first started going out with Neil he was one of those people you could never forget, always friendly, always ready with a cheeky comment or mischievous grin that could make anyone smile. He enjoyed life, loved being around family and friends, and found happiness in the things he loved most. His passion for cars was a big part of who he was, and he could spend hours happily working on them, always with patience and pride. Though quiet by nature, his presence was strong, kind, and genuine. The memories he leaves behind the smiles, the laughs, and the love will stay with us forever. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.

When I first met Mark, he brought a sense of calm that made me feel welcome. He was a quiet man, but his presence was always felt. He didn’t need to be the loudest person in the room to be the most friendly and welcoming. He had a way of making you feel like a lifelong friend with just a simple nod or a kind smile. Aside from his family, Marks’s great passion was cars. Whether he was working under the hood, or just enjoying the open road, cars were his 'love language'. He understood that a car is more than just a machine; it represents freedom and the journey of life itself. I think Mark viewed life much like he viewed a well-tuned engine. He appreciated the quiet hum of things running smoothly and the beauty in the small, mechanical details that others might overlook. It was his way of being in his safe place, quietly on his own. RIP Mark.
