GeorgeCARRCARR (Bensham). Formerly Sheriff Hill. Peacefully in Queen Elizabeth Hospital on 8th February 2013, aged 91 years, George, loving husband to the late Mary, devoted father to Christine, Ernie and Cheryl, also a wonderful grandad and great grandad, a loving uncle and friend to everyone he met. Friends wishing to attend the service please meet at Saltwell Chapel on Monday 18th February at 10.00am, followed by committal. By request family flowers only, however donations in lieu of flowers if so desired to Sir Bobby Robson Foundation for which a donation box will be provided.

The greatest grandad you could ever wish for. He was always a shining light. That cheeky smile he had. I would stay up hours watching classic westerns with him. He had time for anyone, he was always there for you. Oh God, I still miss you Grandad, but I know you're looking down with pride and love you had. Until we meet again. Love you always until the end of time.
