Walter HansonBROOKSIt is with great sadness that we announce that Walter aged 81 years passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Monday 20th April 2026 with members of his loving family by his side, whilst in the tender care of The High Dependency Unit at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital.
A much loved husband to Marilyn, a cherished and much respected dad to Ade & Karen, Lamb Chop & Paul, a wonderful grandad to Emily and Hannah, a loving grannydad to Jay and Cal, a dear brother to Joe and the late Gretta, Joyce, Tommy, Roy, John and Brian. Walter was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, a good friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A service to celebrate the life of Walter will be held at St Peter and St Paul Church, Tetney on Friday 15th May at 10.30am followed by an interment for Walter at Tetney Cemetery.
By request family flowers only but donations in memory of Walter can be made to Parkinson's UK. A donation box will be available on the day.
