Roy GeoffreyBOYLESDied peacefully at home, aged 95, on 9th June 2026 with his wife, Maureen, at his side.
A former football league referee & linesman in the 1960s & 70s, Roy lived for many years in Etwall, Derbyshire before relocating with Maureen to Ruddington Notts. Roy, together with first wife Daphne who died in 2022, were well known in the Derby area for establishing & distributing Tupperware in the region when it first came to the UK in the 1960s. In retirement Roy was a prodigious fundraiser for the British Heart Foundation. He also maintained & fostered contacts & associations from his earlier Military Service in the Intelligence Corp. Roy was deeply loved and will be missed by all his family both here in the UK and Australia.
The funeral service will take place on Friday 24th July 2026 at Wilford Hill Crematorium Nottingham at 12:00 noon.
Donations for the British Heart Foundation may be left at the service.
