HelenBARNETTHelen passed away suddenly on Tuesday 17th March 2026 in the Intensive Care Unit at Macclesfield District General Hospital surrounded by her loving family, aged 67.

The cherished wife of Steven, treasured mum to Sarah, Amy, Kerri & Kate, a fantastic mother in law to Stefan, Dominic, Daniel & Nathan a much loved Nana/Nannie to Tommy, Charlie, Lillybo, Eadie, Freddie, Theodore, Elsie, Genevieve, Ralph & Harry and Great-Nana to Reggie, Teddy, Albert and Joseph, a loving sister to Billy and adored Auntie and Friend to many.

Helen will be hugely remembered for her loving, warm, caring personality and full of fun character. She will be so greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

The funeral will be held at St Stephens Church, Congleton on Wednesday 22nd April 2026 at 11:30am followed by the committal service at 1pm at Birches Crematorium, Lach Dennis. Will everyone whose life she touched please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating Helen’s life.

Everyone is warmly invited to continue sharing memories of Helen and to enjoy some refreshments, after the service, at Congleton Cricket Club, Booth Street, Congleton CW12 4DG.

Helen always loved to look her best whether that be her comfy clothes or Sunday best so the family invite you to choose your outfit accordingly to how you feel best to honour Helen's bright and beautiful personality.
The family are truly amazed and blown away by all the love, beautiful messages, cards and flowers that have been given and sent in Helen's memory.

Immediate family flowers only but kindly request that donations can be made to Macclesfield Intensive Care Unit. A donation box will be available at the service, however, donations can be sent via the funeral directors.

Helen lit up every room she entered and was a part of Congleton now gone where everyone knew everyone else and people genuinely cared for each other. We all love Helen for her beautiful personality, her warmth and kindness. Taken too soon but God needed her in Heaven.

‘Our Helen’ indeed.
Helen was bursting with personality, she had a huge heart, the biggest smile and always had a story to tell!
How she’ll be missed.
