The obituary notice of Christine Mary ABDELMOUTALEB (nee Bradley)

I was so sad to hear the news of Christine's passing, when I found out via other tutors on our Facebook group. I met Christine on Zoom in 2014, through a regular tutor's video call. She was always kind, understanding and had a wealth of advice on tutoring in general, but also an expert in delivering online tuition, long before 'everyone' was using Zoom. She would often tell us that she had been using computers before the rest of us tutors were born and that she used a computer that was so large that it had its own building. She'd clearly had an interesting life - I would have loved to have known more. Sadly our online chats reduced during the lockdown of 2020 as tutors became busier and busier during the day. We will certainly miss her, and can't believe that we had not noticed that she hadn't been active in any of the Facebook groups. Rest assured, we will be holding a special online meeting to honour Christine this week. Thank you Christine, for being a part of our lives.

We are so saddened to hear of Christine's sudden passing and would like to extend our deepest sympathy to her family and friends. Christine was an excellent tutor who dedicated herself to helping young people with their Maths and Science skills.

My deepest condolences to Louise, Keith and family and the extended family of Christine.
So unexpected and such a shock. Christine was a valued friend, who helped me and advised me in my early years as a private tutor.
We tended to tutor the same pupils, me with English and Christine with Maths and Science.
Christine was also a good friend to me at difficult times of my life. She will be sadly missed.
