Ethel, aged 96 years of the Gaer, Newport.
Beloved Wife of the late Donald.
Dearly loved Mother of David.
Loved Mother-in-law of Sharon.
Nan of Mark, Siân and their partners Karla and Simon.
Great Nan of Connor, Ashton and Jack.
Auntie to all of Her Nieces and Nephews.

Resting in the private Chapel of

Until Funeral Thursday 18th June 2026
Service at Gwent Crematorium Chapel 11am
Prior to cremation
Immediate family flowers only please however
Donations would be appreciated for Dementia UK

Following the funeral, all are welcome to join the family for light refreshments at the

Auntie Ethel had a smile that could light up any room and a laugh that was so contagious, she was an absolute joy to be around.
And if there was cake involved, even better, she never needed an excuse for a slice, and that was just one of the many things we loved about her 🎂❤️ xx

I will always remember Aunty Ethel for her wonderful sense of humour, her warm heart, and her beautiful smile. She had a way of bringing happiness to those around her and would always brighten a room with her cheerful nature. The bond she shared with my mum Margaret was very special and she will be fondly remembered always ❤️

All my love and deepest sympathy Dave and family. I remember Ethel so fondly when growing up, she and mum were more like sisters than sisters-in-law. Ethel, Donny, mum and dad had such a special relationship, enjoying trips in the car, visits, and outings. She never lost her sense of fun. I know she will be sadly missed. Happy memories, Love Jen xx
