You were my lighthouse in every storm, you picked me up & brushed me off every time, I’m sorry that life took over & we didn’t see each other so much. I will never look at blue M&M’s the same, I can still hear your wicked laugh & your many mischievous stories. You spent nights just sitting & listening without judgement. Glastonbury will miss you. I will miss you just not being there when a John hug is needed. John be good, if you can be good …. Don’t get caught! I love you ( beard & all) & if one little cloud ever rains on me….. I’ll smile & know it’s you…. “Damn … that was a fierce cloud”
You will always be in my heart & my thoughts.

John, can’t believe you left us. It doesn’t seem real. You were so wise, generous, hospitable and kind .
We travelled far and wide together in my younger days and I learned a lot from you. It seems very fitting that you moved to Glastonbury and became a knight in shining armour!
I know we’ll meet again within the next few decades but until then I’m sure they will put you to good use in Heaven with your armour and sword - now complete with wings👼🏼🙏🏻🙌🏻💫🌟✨❤️

Seems unbelievable that you left. You always seemed so invincible. Spent a large part of my youth in your company and we travelled far and wide. You were so wise, generous and kind- it became very fitting that you moved to Glastonbury and became a knight in shining armour. I know we’ll meet again within a few decades…. Until then, I’m sure you’ll be put to good use in Heaven with your suit of armour - now complete with wings 👼🏼🪽❤️🙌🏻🙏🏻✨🌟💫

Trevor and I going to miss your inimitable presence around town. We had quite a few adventures in the 00s, filming Druidic things in Avebury and other places, and dealing books together. You were always generous and kind, as well as hilarious (I will never forget your FB post which read "I've just made a beautiful healthy salad. But I thought it would look better in the bin"). Since you've died so many mutual friends have commented on your acts of kindness over the years. You will be so greatly missed.

John… Loved creating prints from the infra red film in the darkroom for you,the Ian Hunter/Mott the Hoople and Gary Glitter gigs we went to(although I’m never going to forgive you for dragging me to see Jethro Tull!) and the nights we spent in Croydon’s Pizza Express(I’m sure we were their profit margin!) Thank you for your friendship,support and your legendary generosity which has been mentioned by so many… I thought I’d get through today but those drums reduced me to tears… Wherever you are take care… Pete
