The obituary notice of Jonathon (Brett) HAMES

I really didn't want to write this short tribute for Brett....not for any bad reason......but because it just makes it so final.
Brett was my brother who I lost contact with for several years until one day life just threw us together again and from that day on my life was made so much richer.Words just don't seem able to describe the feeling of Brett not being in my world anymore .Brett who had lived life to the full , but taken too soon.Thoughtful, helpful,wise and always had a story or three to tell should the occasion arise and of course his boyish sense of humour. I'll miss this all.....but most of all I miss Brett just not being here.Rest in peace mate.....you will always live in our hearts. Love Glyn and Carol.

Brett, you will be missed dearly by us all you were undisputed king of the Christmas table serving up legendary stories, questionable punchlines, and jokes so terrible they somehow became tradition. No family gathering was complete without his laughter, his mischief, and at least one bad joke. He had a gift for making us all laugh, and for that, we loved him dearly. Christmas won’t be the same without his stories, his humor, or his perfectly awful jokes but we’ll think of him every year, smiling through the laughter. 💖
