JimSPENCEspence (jim) (james william) Judy and her Family wish to thank so may people following the death of Jim, a very much loved Husband, Father, Grandad and Friend to so many. Our deep gratitude goes to the wonderful staff at Highfield private Hospital. In 2004, doctors gave him even 2 and a half years of happy life following his heart bypass surgery for which we are so grateful. Our heartfelt thanks go to his consultants, who since January tried so hard to help him. We also thank them for their kindness and comforting words to us all. Thank you to the Resident Medical Officers and the physiotherapists, the day and night nursing staff gave him such dedicated, loving care and in return he loved them all. Our thanks go to the lovely staff on reception, Tony the chef and his staff for their help and the efficient waitresses and cleaning ladies and porters who all treated him so well. We are indebted to the loving care to both Jeremy and all the Family from Pauline and all the staff at his day Centre and to Paula, Jeremy's counsellor. We thank all our family, Friends and Neighbours for their support and for all the beautiful flowers and cards I also thank my Friends in Sri Lanka, Senegal and Gambia, West Africa of many different faiths who have prayed for us all. My Children have, over the past 4 months, put their careers and family lives on hold to be always here for and to be with their beloved Dad until his death - this I will forget. I am so proud of my older Grandchildren, Ben, Katy, Tom and Jack, who despite their grief, supported me at thefuneral. Thank you to Reverend Dr. Stephen May for his words of comfort, his blessing on him before he died and for the beautiful service. Also his Wife Maria for her support. To Wellens Funeral Service- thank you for making Jim's funeral exactly how we wanted - nothing was too much trouble. The best consultants, the best nurses and the total love could not save him - life will never be the same without him.
