GeorgeHALLHALL - GEORGE, November 6, 1907. (In grateful and loving memory of my eldest brother George who would have been 100 today. At the age of 20, on the sudden death of Dad, George became breadwinner for our widowed mother and six younger brothers and sisters. He saved the four youngest from the dreaded orphanage. His efforts kept the family together at a time when there was no help from anyone except friends. I remember too Rene, Cis, Trudie, Bill and John. I miss them all.) - Bob Hall, aged 90.
